D.Pharm
D.Pharm course is approved by P.C.I. New Delhi and Odisha State Board of Pharmacy, Bhubaneswar.
The duration of the course is for two academic years. Each academic year consists of not less than one hundred and eighty working days in addition to 500 hours of practical training for 3 months or more, in Govt. Hospital / Dispensary / Pharmacy recognised by PCI, New Delhi as prescribed by the curriculum.
Intake Capacity: 60 per year
Eligibility:
Minimum qualification for admission to Diploma in Pharmacy: Pass in +2 Science examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Bioscience/Life-science) and/or Mathematics from C.H.S.E., Odisha or any examination equivalent to it, approved by PCI. Candidates must have passed in individual subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology (both theory & practical). Students of Vocational course & distance education/ correspondence course are not eligible. Admission conducted by DMET, Odisha.
Admission to D.Pharm course is from the merit list prepared by Convenor, D. Pharm Selection Committee, Odisha and rest of the seats are filled up by Management.
Provided that there shall be reservation of seats for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes candidates in accordance with the instructions issued by the Central Govt. /State Govts./Union Territory Administrations as the case may be from time to time
