Dear Colleagues, and Students, I am an old hand at Teaching, and a know name in the fraternity of Pharam Teachers.

More then a decade long teaching assignment had taught me certain basic tenets of a successful Teacher, who merits recognition.

Those are:

• Absolute Discipline in all Aspects.
• An in depth knowledge in the core area of the subject, with a clear grip over the peripheries.
• Constant and continuous updatation of knowledge bank, through persuit, interaction, and Exposure.
• A love for continuous learning, and
• Of course a dedication filled commitment to achieve Excellence. In Addition a Teacher should be:
• Student friendly with an eye fixed constantly on their genuine academic needs.
• Ability to have a Swot analysis of all the students individually, and
• An eagerness to address the need of the students at the Appropriate time.

I have over a period of time, tried to cultivate, and imbibe all these to the utmost extent possible, and I believe, neither in short cut, not compromise, on any count.

A ward for my dear Students:

• They should inculcate a total not fragmented and fractured Love for Students.
• Learning should be their Religion on a Continuous basis without any laxity, callousness or digression.
• As students, they should be absolutely unidirectional, with every thing focused on attainment of the Excellence, and
• All these within the frame work of “Total Discipline” with the functional boundaries clearly defined.

About the subject:

Pharmacy in the context of the present day, and in the prevailing scenario is a massive canvas, which can absorb any hue, with many an areas, angles,7 dimensions still uncharted.

It is the largest white collared employment generator, and the biggest money spinner in the process of unfolding its vast expanse.

Time is not far, when it will over take many a core industries in different aspects, to establish its monolithic supremacy.

Functional domain of a Pharma Scientist stretched from Teaching to R & D, Marketing to Management, Formulation to Application, and even Health care, and management in certain western countries. 

Hence my Appeal, never relent to learn, and size up to grab the opportunity by its Horns.
